This convertible pump is located in the right rear quarter on Lincolns 1961-65 and operates both the convertible top and deck (trunk) lid. In 1966-67 this pump is located in the center of the trunk area just underneath the glass back window and operates only the top (there is a separate pump for the deck). When adding fluid to the pumps, be sure to leave 1 to 1 1/2 inches of space (for expansion) between the fluid level and the filler opening.
