GASKET (PAIR), EXHAUST MANIFOLD (STEEL) 61 62 63 64 65 66 67 68 430/462 |
|
Originally the 1961-68 Lincoln 430/462 engines used a steel gasket between the head and the exhaust manifolds. This makes a good seal as long as both sealing surfaces are perfectly flat and smooth (otherwise we suggest the fiber gaskets). Always be sure to mill the exhaust manifolds anytime they are removed, this is cheap insurance against a future crack!
